Meet at Cheonggyesan Station, Shinbundang Line, Exit 2F

This walk may be last one of the season as it's beginning to get a bit too warm, so do join us if you can and bring plenty of water.

Lorraine has checked the terrain and found it to be a very pleasant hike, lots of lovely shade, cool breezes and, whilst it is a reasonable climb, not too arduous.  Mt Cheonggyesan is a beautiful mountain that is intersected by a pristine 2km fresh water valley. It is said to be one of two guarding mountains in Seoul. The hike to the top is pretty steep in parts, but overall it's relatively easy going. The unspoilt surroundings certainly don't hurt and are a great distraction.

Please note the earlier start time to avoid the midday heat.
