Between meetings and events, there are opportunities to meet like-minded people in our special interest groups and clubs.  Current groups are shown below, but if you have an idea for a group you would like to start, please contact our Events team.

Every Friday at 10am until 12.30pm a fun group of ladies gather at the Seoul Club to play the age old Chinese tile game, mahjong. We play the Western version and welcome everyone from beginners to experienced players.  We usually stay for lunch afterwards, which is not obligatory, but a great way to get to know the other members.

Mahjong is a game of 4 people per table that originated in China.  They say mahjong involves skill, strategy & calculation, but mostly it's about luck and the desire to have a good time!  If you'd like to join us please contact our Mahjong Club organiser to register your interest.

Book Club

The Book Club meets once a month on a Thursday evening (usually the 3rd Thursday of the month) in the home of one of the Book Club members. It is a relaxed and informal gathering, and a great chance for those who enjoy reading to get together over a glass of wine and a light snack to chat about the book.

The Book Club is open to all BASS and ANZA members and new members are always welcome. If you would like to join the Book Club, please contact Suzi at
