BASS Walkie Talkie - Celebrating International Women's Day, Giving and Empowering

We have planned a special International Women's Day Walkie-Talkie. This is a short hike followed by a visit to ESWS, a charity that BASS has supported for many years. We will learn about how ESWS supports and empowers women and give a donation of collected membership fees.

About the event
BASS has partnered with the Eastern Social Welfare Society for many years. This non-profit supports women, children, infants and the disabled through services that support their needs. We plan to do a short hike in the area Ansan Mountain and then journey down to ESWS near the Hongik University Subway. There we will learn about their services and offer our donation. Members can then walk out into this vibrant neighborhood and have lunch together. A special thanks to Edina Butler who has coordinated both the hike and our visit to ESWS.
