About the event
Situated behind the Blue House, between the mountains Inwangsan and Bugaksan is a charming neighborhood with many cafes, restaurants, galleries and many famous filming locations for K-dramas and the location for one scene from the movie Parasite. We will begin by taking a short taxi ride from Buam-dong up a winding, scenic road to Palgakjeong Pavilion. This is a large traditional Korean style, octagonal shaped pavilion from which you can enjoy 360 degree views of Seoul, including Namsan tower, the Han river, Lotte tower and Bukhansan. We will then walk on a trail back down to Buam-dong, about 50 minutes, passing many famous cafes along the way. There are many options for lunch including a famous dumpling place and a quaint Italian trattoria. We will also stop by British Bakery Scoff and visit the filming location for Parasite. This is just a snapshot tour of Buam-dong. There is so much more to see and do.
