About the event
Even if you're not a fan of baseball, it's impossible not to enjoy the enthusiasm of the fans, the wonderful food and drink and of course the dance routines of the cheerleaders. Yes, there are cheerleaders.
Baseball was first introduced to Korea in the early 1900's by an American missionary and it has been gaining popularity ever since. The Jamsil stadium was built to host the baseball events during the 1988 Summer Olympics, and is a part of the larger Seoul Sports Complex area.
